BRC National Championships - 3rd & 4th September
Well done to all our members who qualified throughout the year and went on to compete at the National Championships held at Lincoln Showground.
Tia Ratty was our only senior competing in the dressage. She did really well and won the Veteran Horse Elementary and was 7th in the Medium dressage. A massive congratulations to you!

We also had the juniors competing the following day. Tabitha Howell came 10th in the Junior intro dressage and just missed out on a placing in the prelim.
And Jazmin Glover came 7th in her prelim class.

Area 10 Summer Qualifiers
During the year our members have been competing at the Area 10 qualifiers.
Area Dressage - 17 July 2022
Unfortunately, this was cancelled due to hot weather - we had lots of members entered who were put forward to a ballot.

Maria Ayiotis represented the club at the dressage to music qualifiers and finished in 2nd in the senior novice class. Well done Maria, the club are very proud of you!
Area Show Jumping - 18 June 2022 @ East Bysshe
The senior 80 team consisting of Maria Ayiotis, Emily Higgins, Julie Hanks and Alexandra Dickinson came 2nd after some super rounds, finishing on a total of 4. Maria came 1st individually. Well done team! The same team also did the 90 class and were unfortunately not placed this time, but Maria came 2nd individually and Alexandra was 6th.
Jazmin Glover competed in the 80cm junior individual class and finished on a total of 4. Well done Jazmin!
Area Horse Trials - 8 May 2022 @ Comphurst
After a period of no rain, and very hard ground we only had one member compete at this. Tia Ratty competed on the Senior 80 finishing on a score of 48.9. Although not placed this time, Tia did very well.
Combined Challenge - 10 April 2022 @ Munstead
We had both seniors and juniors competing at this new qualifier. The senior 80cm team consisting of Maria Ayiotis, Tia Ratty, Ellie Norman and Emily Higgins finished 3rd with Tia coming 5th individually.
Ella Grundy competed in the 90cm juniors and unfortunately was eliminated but well done for representing the club at your first qualifier!
Combined Training - 2 April 2022 @ Felbridge
We had a senior team consisting of Ellie Norman, Emily Higgins and Tia Ratty finishing in 11th. Individually Ellie came 6th, Emily 12th and Tia 5th.
We also had two juniors, Jazmin Glover and Bella Saville competing as individuals. Jazmin finished 1st and Bella finished 3rd.
Well done to all who competed!

The last chance for competitors to gain points for the December championship was on Sunday 21st November at Arrow Riding Centre.
It was a cold day but the sun was shining and we had a good turnout of competitors.

FDRC Winter Dressage Series - 31st October 2021
The second of our Winter Dressage series got off to a bit of a wet and windy start on Sunday 31st October at Arrow Riding Centre.
Despite the weather we still had a good turnout from new competitors and competitors from September gaining more points for the Championship.
Well done to all these that competed especially the morning riders who faced the worst of the weather!

The first of our Winter Dressage series shows took place on Sunday 26th September at Arrow Riding Centre.

FDRC Winter Dressage Series - 25th October 2020
We managed to fit in one final show before lockdown 2.0.
Again it was lovely to see so many of you competing again for your chance to gain points.
Unfortunately this was our last event of the year due to Government restrictions and we would like to thank everyone that supported our series this year.

This was the first show we have ran in a while due to Covid and the first of our Winter Dressage Series so it was lovely to see so many new faces and past competitors supporting the show.

FDRC Winter Dressage Series - 24th November 2019
The third of our Winter Dressage series shows took place on Sunday 24th November at Arrow Riding Centre.
It was great to see some more new faces and horses as well as past competitors returning to compete for their last chance to gain points and qualify for our Winter Dressage Championships in December. Our members did well with a win in nearly every class! We are looking forward to seeing those that have qualified for the Championships on the 15th December.

Colts & Fillies Show in aid of Meningitis Research Foundation - 15th September 2019
Nearly 60 children attended the show in the 15th September and it was a red hot day . The car park was full to the brim and so were both arenas, All of the children and ponies behaved unbelievably well considering the heat and it was a long day as we ran longer than we normally do . The fancy dress was outstanding with over 16 children entered and the costumes were unbelievable there had been a lot of effort put in to them. Hannah and Joanna Knight judged this class sponsored by North Kent Distribution.
Colts and Fillies Show Results
Winners for the dressage 1a was Dylan Woodward on Charlie with 79.3% and for class 1b was Amber Davidson on Magic with 76.7%.
Our showing Champion was won by Amber Davison on Magic and our reserve champion was Tristan Mante on Flossie.
Our Gymkhana champion was Tristan Mante and reserve champion was Millie Steinman-Gilbert.
Thank you to everyone who took part, we raised a massive £2,800!

FDRC Spring Individual & Team Dressage Show - 8th April 2018
Many thanks to everyone that attended our Spring competition after having a break last year, we were pleased to be able to hold this event again. We had a great turnout and again our fellow Area 10 riding club Chelsham and Bromley supported us with two teams entered, but it also meant they took the winning trophy home!! Well done Chesham.

FDRC Winter Dressage Championship Show - 3rd December 2017
As a club we finished the year at the Arrow Riding Centre for our Dressage Championship show, we had some very good scores with the highest of the day being 74.6% from our Junior member - Kiki Ratty.
Six of our members took home championship titles and were highly decorated throughout the series.

FDRC Winter Dressage Series - 22nd October 2016
The second part of our Winter Series saw another glorious crisp autumnal day for all our riders.
Again we welcomed more new faces to the competition and we gained a few new club members too. All members points go towards our own league table and there was also the addition of an Area 10 points league for Grass Roots riders open to all Riding club members from Area 10. The first of our Winter Dressage series shows took place on Sunday 24th September at Arrow Riding Centre.
It was great to see some new faces and horses as well as past competitors returning to compete .
We enjoyed glorious weather throughout the day, nothing like a autumn day.
Many thanks to those who helped bring these shows together and help steward throughout the day, we always get nice feedback from our competitors and yesterday was no different.

FDRC Winter Dressage Series - 20th November 2016
After a very stormy night on Saturday 19th November, we fully expected a long wet and windy day for the third part of our Winter Dressage Series. But we were pleasantly surprised, we had few unfortunate withdrawals on the day, but on the whole everyone was upbeat and we had a very high scoring day.
Our members were placed 1st five times out of seven classes.
Invitations have been sent out for our Championship show on Sunday 4th December. There will be placings on the day as well as awards for the Championships. Please bare in mind there is a mounted presentation to 10th place in each class, so please prepare to stay on the showground and keep yourself warm by visiting Elliotts Catering and Events trailer.

FDRC Winter Dressage Series - 23rd October 2016
Katie Rankine (Junior Member) & Star Beach
We held our 2nd date for our Winter Dressage Series on Sunday 23rd October and the weather was very kind to us, with a chilly start the sun soon broke through and we had a lovely clear day.
Well done to all of those that took part and many thanks to our dedicated members that helped out at our event, our judges and writers. Our members were placed 32 times during the course of the day with 5 of those being first placings. We are very proud of them and it’s lovely to see new combinations competing for the first time together.
We received great feedback from competitors, there is now just one more date to gain points for the championship show in December, a waiting list applies for November

FDRC Winter Dressage Series - 25th September 2016
Ellie Jenkins (Junior Member) & Davita
We held the first of our annual Dressage show for our winter series of 2016 on Sunday 25th September at Arrow Riding Centre. This year our series filled up quicker than ever before and a waiting list now applies for October & November dates.
It was great to see our members and some new non-members coming along to compete. The highest score went to our member Emily Stedman with a whopping 75% in the Senior Open Prelim class.
We did have a slight hiccup in class 4 due to the BD sheets changing their points system on the test sheets, we thank you all for your patience and cooperation.
Points gained from this show, Octobers & November’s and those with enough points will qualify for our Championship show in December.
Many thanks as usual to all our members who give up their time to help run organises and run our show.

FDRC SJ Show - 12th June 2016

On Sunday 12th June 2016, we held our 3rd annual show jumping show at Eaglesfield Equestrian by kind permission of Jean Clark.
Our show was very well supported and support was appreciated by Tutsham Farm, who work with disadvantaged children to learn new skills using the benefit of horses, who entered a lot on the day. http://www.teamtutsham.co.uk

FDRC Colts & Fillies Show - 8th May 2016
We held a Colts and Fillies show for children under the age of 14 on the 8th May at the Arrow Riding Centre, in memory of Maya Ford.
We had a huge attendance on the day with competitors, parents and spectators and the car park was full to bursting. Danny Berta was in attendance with Berta Images and captured the day perfectly with his photos.
It was a very beautiful sunny day and as well as our show we sold raffle tickets and cakes to help raise extra money.
We were overwhelmed by people’s generosity to sponsor our show and donations of raffle prizes – a full list is available to view on our website blog.
100% of all proceeds from the show are being passed onto the Meningitis Research Foundation. Everyone that helped on the day and leading up to the show gave up their time for free and we have an amazing team that worked hard and pulled this very busy show together. Thank you to everyone involved , we are very proud of you all.

FDRC Winter Dressage Championship Show - 13th December 2015
Our last show of 2015 was held at the Arrow Riding Centre, near Dartford and many competitors joined us for the finale of our winter series. As always our shows could not run without everyone who helps out, members , judges etc and Lucy Benning our secretary for coordinating all the entries and running the whole series - Thank you to all.

FDRC Winter Dressage Series - 22nd November 2015
Our November dressage date was by far the coldest so far of the series, so well done to everyone that turned up to compete and help run our show. We had a day of high scoring juniors outscoring the seniors, with Sophie Hillman-Green getting the highest score of the day with a whopping 75% winning Class 3. 4 of our members gained 1st place, so we are especially proud of them.
This was the last time to gain points for our championships on 13th December. Those that have qualified will be contacted soon, if you were not at our show yesterday.

FDRC Winter Dressage Series - 25th October 2015
We held our 2nd date for our Winter Dressage Series on Sunday 25th October and the weather was very kind to us, with a chilly start the sun soon broke through and we had a clear dry day.
Well done to all of those that took part and many thanks to our dedicated members that helped out at our event, our judges and writers.
Our members took 3 of the top placings, we are very proud of them.
We received great feedback again, there is now just one more date to gain points for the championship show in December, a waiting list applies for November.

FDRC Winter Dressage Series - 27th September 2015
The first of our Winter Dressage series shows took place on Sunday 27th September,
as per previous years our entries were full before the closing date.
We are so pleased that our annual event is as popular as ever and it was great to see some new faces and some previous competitors on new horses too.
We enjoyed glorious weather throughout the day and the standard of competition was very high and the highest percentage of the day was a whopping 76.8%!!
Many thanks to those who helped bring these shows together and help steward throughout the day.

FDRC Summer Dressage - 28th June 2015
We ran our first ever Summer Dressage at Eaglesfield Equestrian on Sunday 28th June, we ran two arenas with classes for everyone from Walk and Trot up to Medium and we also had a Young Horse Class and Pairs Class.
Thanks to Jean Clark and all at Eaglesfield Equestrian for setting up the arena for the club and their hospitality.

We held 2nd annual Showjumping show at Eaglesfield Equestrian Centre by kind permission of Jean Clark on Sunday 7th June 2015.
We had enough pre-entries to cover our costs; therefore we were unable to split ponies/horses. But we were overwhelmed by the attendance on the day with well over one hundred entries.
The sun shone all day. Twelve of our members were placed during the course of the day which means their points get added to the club tally where awards are presented in November.

We had 12 teams competing and some individual riders and we are so pleased that our Fawkham Red team won back the shield for our club after a year of it gong outside the club - Well done to Kiki Ratty, Katie Rankine, Tia Ratty, Shelly Ratty.

Our Dressage Championship show was held on 14th Dec at the Arrow Riding Centre and thankfully this time we all stayed dry. The scoring all day was pretty close, our members achieved a total of 22 placing's and scooped three first’s.
Our Winners on the day were: Abbie Maughan, Jo McNamara, Chloe French, Leanne Hollands, Maria Ayiotis, Lois Seymour and Alison Osbourn.
We would like to thank all our helpers and everyone that continually support our Winter Dressage, not just riders, but spectators too. We have a great friendly atmosphere and hope that we will see you back in 2015 at our shows and clinics

Our November Dressage competition has got to be the wettest on record, with non stop rain all day it did not dampen the spirits of our competitors and we only had 5 withdrawals all day. We would like to thank all that helped yesterday to run the show, we have some very dedicated members that not only competed, but also helped despite the weather.
Our members gained a whopping 30 placing's and again great feedback from our attendees

Another full day of dressage competitors for Fawkham & District RC, we had a reasonably dry and bright day for the time of year. With the clocks going back we did gain an extra hour, but we did leave in the dark. Thanks again to all of our members that went that extra mile and helped out on the day, which again resulted in great feedback from competitors.

Area 10 Dressage & Riding Test Qualifiers - 27th July 2014
The club had a busy day at the dressage qualifiers at Warren Barn Farm, for some of our riders it was their first time competing for the club and we all had a fab day. For the first time in years we were unable to get a junior team together which was a shame but hopefully next year we will be back with a team.

We held our first Showjumping show in a while at Eaglesfield Equestrian Centre by kind permission of Jean Clarke.
The day started with rain and by the afternoon we had scorching sun. Our show was well attended taking many entries on the day. Sixteen of our members were placed during the course of the day which means their points get added to the club tally where awards are presented in November.

Area 10 - Show Jumping Qualifiers - 29th June 2014
The club had a great day at the area 10 jumping qualifiers at Felbridge.
Our junior team making their jumping debut rode their hearts out and had a couple of faults but all well ridden and some lovely clears, they made us so proud. The junior team comprised of Tia Ratty, Charlotte Hay and Olivia Choules.
Our senior Novice team consisted of Sam Ottaway, Katie Day, Stacey Ward. The seniors were unlucky with eliminations due to refusals but Kate Day gained two lovely clear rounds and made it to the jump off out of a huge class but she unfortunately had 12 faults.
John Benning jumped individually in the 95cm class, had two clear rounds and made it to the jump off. He had the fastest time but an unfortunate pole down which left him in 3rd place. Luckily the two riders that came first and second were part of the winning team so their individual placings did not count which means John is going to the National Championships in Lincoln!!!!
Well done to all our team riders.

Teams Dressage - 2nd Dec 2012
A huge well done to our Junior team at the Area 10 Winter Dressage Qualifiers they came 3rd overall.
Hannah Knight (pictured) won the Novice class with 73.75%
Tia Ratty got 61.25% in the Prelim
Ellie Jenkins came 6th in the Prelim with 67.08% (first time competing for us) and Pippa Greenwood got 52.91% in the Novice (first time on a team with her new horse and it was their first ever Novice class

The last of our Championship qualifiers again saw a large turnout and a few new competitors, some of which have gained enough points on this one outing to qualify for championship show on 2nd December.

FDRC Dressage Results - 28th October 2012
We held our second dressage event of the series on the morning after the clocks had gone back and winter had definatley arrived, despites being a rather chilly day, competitors braved the elements and were in good spirits.
We had a full day of riders and the last rider entered the arena as darkness fell.
Many thanks for all our helpers and we are looking forward to the next date is our series - 18th November 2012. Please enter early as some classes were full this time round.

FDRC Dressage Results - 30th September 2012

Our first dressage event of the winter series at Arrow RC got off to a flying start and we saw a very high standard of riding. We are looking forward to the rest of the series and seeing how the competition progresses.
