Why Join FDRC?
We are a friendly club located in North West Kent within Area 10 of British Riding Club Section. We compete for fun and we enter teams at Area 10 qualifiers and if we qualify for Championships then that is an added bonus. In order to run events we always need help from members; this is also a way of meeting and making friends with other Members and Members of the Committee.
As a club we send out members newsletters, members also gain points for FDRC shows attended throughout the year and awards are presented in November at our annual AGM. Our main venues that we run clinics and shows at at Arrow Riding Centre, Near Darenth, Eaglesfield Equestrian, Ash and White House Stables, Fawkham.
Joining a local riding club has many benefits as well as the social aspect and being able to share transport costs with members, you can gain discounts in various equine areas and you will receive a quarterly magazine through BRC - please see below more benefits of joining.
Please note - Every member who wishes to participate in the team events must make sure that their horse’s flu vaccinations are up to date with a valid vaccination card/passport.
Memberships fees for 2023:
Adult (Over 18's ) - £30.00
Junior (8 - 17 year) - £25.00
Associate Member (Non Riding) - £15.00
Family (Up to 2 Adults & 2 Children) - £75.00

Competitions
BRC offers a wide range of AreaQualifiers and Championships. Affiliated Riding Clubs also offer further
competitions, training and area points/inter-club competitions.
BRC offers National Championships in all the major riding disciplines, for both Junior and Senior members.
BRC holds the following National Championships every year:
April: Winter Championships - Dressage & Show Jumping
May: Royal Windsor Horse Show (RWHS), Top Score Show Jumping & Dressage
June: Cross Country and Showing at the Festival of the Horse (FOH)
August: Horse Trials (one, two & three day event) Sept: Show Jumping, Style Jumping, Dressage and Riding Test Sept: BE80 BRC Championships
Oct: Dressage to Music & Quadrille Selection
Dec: Quadrille Final - Olympia Horse Show
BRC Official Rule Book
Contains rules for all the disciplines of BRC Qualifiers and Championships. Each club receives two
complimentary copies each year. Copies can also be bought from the BHS Bookshop.
Horse Welfare Scheme
Horse Welfare Advisers offer equine management advice and support to BRC members.
